Scholar AI
Your sources know more than you can hold in your head at once.
Scholar AI lets you ask questions about your own library and get answers grounded in what you've actually read — not the open web. Ask it to compare two papers, find evidence for a claim, or summarise a methodology. Every answer is cited so you can verify and trace back to the source.
This isn't a general-purpose chatbot. It only knows what's in your library. That's the point — it keeps you grounded in your own research instead of pulling in unvetted information.
Available on Fellow (20 queries/hour) and Chair (60 queries/hour) plans.
Also in this release
- Improved PDF text extraction for multi-column layouts. Papers with two-column formatting now extract correctly instead of interleaving the columns.
- Citation insertion in footnotes — inserting a citation when the cursor is inside a footnote now works correctly. Previously it inserted the citation in the main text instead.
- Fixed a layout issue in the sources panel on screens narrower than 768px. The panel no longer overlaps the editor on tablets.
