Performance

  • Document load time — reduced initial load time for documents over 5,000 words by roughly 40%. Large documents no longer block the editor on open.
  • AI response streaming — Cold Start and Audit responses now stream progressively instead of waiting for the full response to complete. You'll see output appearing within seconds instead of waiting 15-30 seconds for the whole thing.
  • Source library search — search across large libraries (100+ sources) is now near-instant. Previously, libraries with many sources had noticeable lag on each keystroke.

Fixed

  • Comments panel scroll position — the comments panel was jumping to the top every time a new comment was added. It now stays at your current scroll position.
  • IEEE citation format — reference numbers were not incrementing correctly after a document edit. The numbering now updates reliably when you add, remove, or reorder citations.
  • Session timeout handling — users were seeing a blank screen instead of a re-login prompt when their session expired mid-session. You'll now see a clear message with a link to sign back in.
