Bug Fixesv1.18.1

v1.18.1 — Referral credit now survives switching devices

If a friend opened your referral link on their phone and finished signing up on a laptop, you weren't getting credit for it. Fixed — referral attribution now works no matter where the signup finishes.

  • Referral credit lost across devices — referral attribution used to live only in the browser that first opened your link. If a friend tapped your link on their phone, then confirmed their signup from a laptop (or from the Gmail app's built-in browser), the referral silently went uncredited — no error, nothing to retry. Attribution is now captured server-side as part of signup itself, so it survives the confirmation happening in a different browser or device. Nothing to do on your end — this applies automatically to new referrals going forward.

See Referral rewards, self-serve for how referral credit works.
