Exported figures now carry a real link, not just a name
Figures and diagrams you export โ from Studio, PRISMA, CONSORT, forest plots, and funnel plots โ used to stamp a plain "Folio" watermark with no link attached. Once the file left your browser (into a paper, a poster, a slide deck), that attribution was dead text.
Every export now wraps the watermark in a real link back to the tool that made it. The Studio mark also reads "Made with Folio ยท usefolio.co" instead of a bare "Folio". PNG exports are unaffected โ a raster image can't carry a link, so those keep the same visible watermark text as before.
Surveyor inserts into your manuscript now carry a provenance snapshot
When you insert a generated results section, a stat, a table, or a chart from Surveyor into your document, Folio now stamps it with a snapshot: which survey question or deliverable it came from, a hash of the content at insertion time, and when it was inserted. This is invisible in your document today โ it doesn't change how the content looks or exports โ but it's the foundation for a future check that flags when your manuscript text has drifted from the underlying survey data.
Fixed
- A suspended institution could still create programs, terms, or departments through the API. A closely related fix landed last version for reading and updating existing records; this closes the same gap for creating new ones. Suspended tenants are now denied consistently across all of these routes.
